ON AUGUST 1, 1975
WPJB, owned by the Providence Journal Co., switched from classical to top 40 as JB105. The original moniker was “JB105 has Big Hits”. On June 13, 1985, listeners were treated to a continuously repeated recording pronouncing that “WPJB is dead!”. Between this time, the station would evolve many times, and a true Southern New England broadcast legend emerged. A radio station with such a rich history deserves a powerful tribute.

Jackie also hosts the Classic Big 35 Countdown on Friday nights at 8 and CLUB105 on Saturday nights at 7. Jackie has been on many great stations including 92 PRO FM, Cape 104, Fun 107, 96.3 The Rose, Q105, WORC-FM, Lite 102, and many more. Nurse Jackie is also a Registered Nurse in real life!

Sandy can be heard every Tuesday and Friday night at 7 on Sandy Lane's Soul Train. Sandy also fills a critical spot on the air at JB105, reporting the latest forecasts for Southern New England from the JB105 Radar Weather Center. She also enjoys conjuring up some great promotions for our listeners. She loves loading the JB Booty Buggy with great prizes!

Mark was one of the original jocks on the legendary JB105 WPJB-FM. He was on air at JB105 in the early 80s and has also been heard on great radio stations like B101, RI104, The Hawk 100.3, and currently hosting "Country Now and Then" on Sunday mornings at 6 on WARA 1320. Mark presently keeps Southern New Englanders informed of the latest happenings and up-to-date music news.

OHWs airs on Wednesday nights at 8, highlighting a showcased year, followed by OHWs 1955-1985 at 9. Larry, a seasoned broadcast professional is the host and producer of Nothing But Old 45s. He began his career at WBRL in Berlin, NH in 1966 and has been on some great radio stations in MA, CT, FL and GA along the way. Larry is excited to be part of the JB105 team and loves spinning Old 45s and telling you all about the songs and artists. Hear Larry's Award Winning NBO45s Classic Rock Hits and NBO45s The Next Generation shows starting at 7 on Monday nights. Larry returns on Thursdays nights at 7 for a NBO45s "SPECIAL" series show on JB105.

Host of the 70s Chart Show
Chris started his entertaining career at the age of 15, and has been a DJ presenting radio and producing voice overs for over 30 years. He enjoys FM and online radio broadcasting, and has also been instrumental in setting up several online and community radio stations. He has previously owned a radio station and acted as a consultant for others. Each week, Chris counts down the Top 40 tracks from the 70s with that UK flair. You can listen to Chris Palin's 70s Chart Show on Monday nights at 9 on JB105.

Casey Kasem's American Top 40 became a staple in the American household back in the 1970s and 1980s. We are excited to have Tony on board for his weekly Class Reunion Oldies Show. His Wayback Playback spotlights tracks from the 60s, 70s and 80s and can be heard Tuesday nights at 9 and Fridays at midnight. Wayne is instrumental in keeping The Cool Whip Rocketship in tip top shape. He is credentialed by the National Institute for Rocketship Service Excellence (RSE). You'll also hear him on the air, updating Nurse Jackie on the status of rocketship repairs and begging for Slowride by Foghat to be played as credit for repair services rendered. It has been rumoured that Wayne is secretly concocting his own radio show that may someday air on the great WPJB, JB105. We are anxiously awaiting...

Maurice "Moe" Jalbert is always ready to do whatever it takes to keep JB105 on the air. He knows most of the right buttons to push to keep everything running smoothly, most of the time.
SASSY THE COCKERSHON
Station Mascot
Sassy the Cockershon is the official station mascot for JB105. She can sometimes be heard barking in the background and she loves meeting the JB105 family of listeners. She loves hanging out with her buddy Wayne in "REPAIR BAY 1".
